Troye Sivan has embarked on a new era in his music career with the release of his highly anticipated album, “Something to Give Each Other,” featuring the third single, “One of Your Girls,” accompanied by a music video.

During his appearance on the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Sivan discussed his latest album and expressed his deep pride in this project, considering it his most favorite work to date. He mentioned that it took a while to complete the album due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and his involvement in a TV show.

The Australian artist’s previous album, “Bloom,” was released in 2018 and received widespread critical acclaim. The reception of “Something to Give Each Other” has been positive, earning an 88 out of 100 score on Metacritic, a 9 out of 10 from Clash, a four-star review from The Guardian, five stars from NME, and three-and-a-half stars from Slant Magazine.

Sivan captured attention on the internet with the release of the music video for “One of Your Girls,” in which he appears in drag, dancing alongside Ross Lynch. Fans praised the video and Sivan’s looks, leading to comments like “My boy is getting so much appreciation for this era. I’m so proud of him.”

Despite the success of the album and its singles, Sivan has faced criticism online. The music video for “Rush” received backlash due to a perceived lack of body diversity. Sivan acknowledged the critique and expressed disappointment that people were discussing others’ bodies, emphasizing that every body is beautiful, including his own, and that body image insecurities are something he has faced himself.
